Welcome to paddleNET.

By accessing paddleNET, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines.

paddleNET is currently an experimental, pre-launch platform operating in active development.

What Is paddleNET?

paddleNET is an AI-native discovery and intelligence platform for the paddlesports ecosystem.

Its purpose is to help map and connect:

• people
• businesses
• products
• waterways
• events
• experiences
• stewardship efforts
• industry knowledge
• environmental observations

…so that AI systems can help surface meaningful opportunities, relationships, and intelligence across the paddling ecosystem.

paddleNET currently includes four primary initiatives:

IndustrySIG

Structured indexing and discovery of businesses, products, brands, services, outfitters, shops, events, and organizations.

NetworkSIG

AI-native networking and relationship discovery for paddlesports professionals, businesses, creators, and participants.

TerraSIG

Intelligence layers related to waterways, ecological systems, stewardship, conservation, and outdoor spaces.

Snap For Science

Citizen-science initiatives that may allow paddlers to contribute environmental observations and field data.

paddleNET is the first industry implementation of the broader iNDX.earth ecosystem.

Experimental Platform Status

paddleNET is currently:

• pre-alpha
• experimental
• rapidly evolving
• under active development

Features, workflows, interfaces, matching systems, AI behavior, communication methods, and data structures may change significantly over time.

Participation is voluntary and intended primarily for:

• testing
• experimentation
• feedback
• research
• ecosystem learning
• product refinement

We do not guarantee:

• accuracy
• uptime
• successful matching
• uninterrupted service
• specific outcomes
• compatibility with future versions

Personal Identity Documents (PIDs)

Some paddleNET services, including NetworkSIG, use Portable Identity Documents (“PIDs”).

A PID is a user-created document intended to help AI systems better understand:

• your experience
• interests
• goals
• projects
• offerings
• relationships
• expertise
• opportunities sought

You retain ownership of your PID and are responsible for the content you submit.

You should only include information you are comfortable making available through your submitted PID link.

For NetworkSIG, your submitted PID link may be made available to active members and their AI agents through a member PID list so those agents can perform local network discovery and matching analysis. NetworkSIG is not intended to be a public searchable profile platform, but a submitted PID should not be treated as private.

The PID skill pack is a folder of templates, skills, and process files that users may download and give to their own AI agents to help create, maintain, and analyze PIDs. The PID skill pack is model-agnostic and may be used with cloud-connected or local AI tools. paddleNET does not control third-party AI tools users choose to use with the kit.

We strongly recommend:

• avoiding sensitive personal information
• avoiding financial information
• avoiding passwords or credentials
• avoiding government identification numbers
• avoiding mailing addresses, phone numbers, private client details, credentials, or account numbers
• including only general location information, such as region, city, state, or country
• using a dedicated email address for participation

Data Ownership & License

You retain ownership of your content.

By participating in paddleNET, you grant paddleNET and iNDX a non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• process submitted content
• crawl submitted URLs
• analyze submitted information
• structure and index content
• generate metadata and embeddings
• create AI-readable knowledge layers
• perform semantic enrichment
• generate anonymized insights
• improve system functionality
• provide submitted PID links to active members or their agents when required for NetworkSIG operation
• coordinate introduction requests and user-approved contact exchanges

This license exists solely for operating and improving the platform.

For NetworkSIG, paddleNET may not perform all of the analysis listed above on the server. Much of the PID reading, analysis, and matching may happen locally through users’ own AI agents. These license terms allow paddleNET to operate current and future platform features, but they do not mean every submitted PID is fully parsed, enriched, embedded, or matched by paddleNET servers at all times.

You may revoke participation by:

• removing submitted content
• requesting deletion
• unsubscribing
• contacting us directly

Privacy Policy

What We Collect

We may collect:

• submitted URLs
• PIDs
• PID links
• email addresses
• Graph Keys or referral/access keys
• public website content
• user communications
• participation metadata
• technical usage information
• introduction requests and responses
• optional user-reviewed telemetry
• environmental or citizen-science submissions
• community feedback

What We Do NOT Do

We do NOT:

• sell personal data
• sell PID contents
• publish your PID as a public searchable profile
• expose your email address or direct contact information to other members without consent
• intentionally disclose private participant information
• collect payment card data
• knowingly collect sensitive medical or financial records

What We DO Do

We DO:

• use submitted data to improve paddleNET systems
• provide submitted PID links to active NetworkSIG members and their agents when required for network discovery
• process data using AI systems when needed for platform operations or improvement
• generate structured metadata and knowledge graphs where appropriate
• communicate with participants
• use anonymized system-level insights internally
• operate experimental AI-native discovery, matching, and introduction workflows
• accept optional, user-reviewed telemetry to understand whether NetworkSIG is useful

Analytics And Cookies

paddleNET may use Google Analytics or similar privacy-respecting site analytics to understand aggregate website usage, diagnose site issues, and improve public content. Analytics tools may use cookies or similar browser storage and may collect technical information such as page views, device/browser information, approximate geography, referral sources, and interaction events.

paddleNET does not use analytics data to sell personal information. Visitors who prefer not to be measured can use browser-level privacy controls, tracking protection, or analytics opt-out tools. If a consent flow is added later, this policy will be updated to describe the available choices.

NetworkSIG-Specific Terms

NetworkSIG is an experimental AI-native networking system for the paddlesports ecosystem.

NetworkSIG currently primarily manages access and coordination. This may include:

• validating Graph Keys
• storing submitted PID links
• creating personal Graph Keys
• providing the current PID link list to active members
• receiving introduction requests
• sending introduction emails when both sides approve
• accepting optional, user-reviewed telemetry

NetworkSIG is not designed as a social feed or public profile browsing platform.

Local AI agents may perform much of the reading, analysis, matching, and reporting on users’ own devices or through the AI tools users choose. If you use a cloud-connected AI tool, that tool may send data to its own servers under its own terms. paddleNET does not control those third-party AI providers.

You should review any AI-generated network analysis, match recommendation, introduction request, or telemetry report before acting on it or submitting it.

NetworkSIG does not guarantee that:

• a PID will produce useful matches
• another member will accept an introduction
• AI-generated match analysis will be accurate
• all submitted PID links will remain readable
• all member PIDs will be current

AI Processing & Automated Systems

paddleNET and participating users may rely heavily on AI systems and automated processing.

This may include:

• semantic analysis
• classification
• indexing
• summarization
• relationship mapping
• recommendation systems
• matching systems
• automated communications
• environmental analysis
• local AI-agent analysis of submitted PID links
• user-reviewed telemetry generation

AI-generated results may:

• be incomplete
• contain inaccuracies
• miss context
• generate incorrect matches
• produce false positives or false negatives

Human review may be limited or unavailable in some automated workflows. For NetworkSIG introduction requests and telemetry submissions, users should review and approve what is submitted or acted on.

You should independently evaluate any opportunities, introductions, recommendations, contact requests, telemetry reports, or outputs generated by paddleNET, your own AI agent, or another participant’s AI agent.

Infrastructure & Security

paddleNET currently operates using a combination of:

• self-hosted infrastructure
• cloud infrastructure
• third-party AI providers
• third-party communication providers

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

By participating, you acknowledge that:

• internet systems carry inherent risks
• AI systems are evolving technologies
• no platform is immune from breaches, outages, or operational failures

Community Participation & Conduct

You agree to:

• act respectfully
• contribute constructively
• avoid harassment or abuse
• avoid spam or manipulation
• avoid malicious behavior
• avoid unauthorized system access
• avoid submitting unlawful or harmful content
• use Graph Keys thoughtfully
• request introductions only for legitimate paddlesports ecosystem purposes
• respect another participant’s decision to decline or ignore an introduction request

You may not:

• impersonate others
• scrape or abuse platform systems
• interfere with platform operations
• submit malicious software or prompts
• intentionally poison datasets or AI workflows
• use NetworkSIG for spam, harassment, dating, scams, illegal activity, or unrelated solicitation
• use coded language to evade abuse, safety, or legal restrictions
• attempt to harvest email addresses, Graph Keys, or contact information
• republish member PID lists or PID contents outside the intended NetworkSIG workflow

We reserve the right to suspend or remove participation at our discretion.

Invitation & Graph Key System

Some paddleNET systems may operate using invitation-based access or Graph Keys.

Graph Keys exist to:

• help maintain network quality
• reduce spam and abuse
• preserve ecosystem relevance
• encourage trusted onboarding

Graph Keys remain the property of paddleNET and may be revoked at any time.

For NetworkSIG, a valid Graph Key may be required to submit a PID link, receive a personal Graph Key, download the current member PID link list, or request introductions. Sharing a Graph Key may allow others to join the network, so use it thoughtfully.

paddleNET may deactivate users, PID links, or Graph Keys to reduce abuse, protect network quality, respond to removal requests, or pause participation.

Citizen Science & Environmental Data

TerraSIG and Snap For Science may involve collection of environmental observations and field data.

These systems are experimental and should not be relied upon for:

• emergency response
• navigation safety
• regulatory compliance
• scientific certainty
• environmental enforcement

Environmental observations contributed by users may be aggregated, analyzed, and used to improve ecosystem intelligence systems.

Intellectual Property

All paddleNET branding, software, workflows, AI systems, infrastructure designs, graphics, and platform materials remain the property of paddleNET, iNDX, or their respective owners unless otherwise stated.

Participation does not transfer ownership of platform intellectual property.

No Warranties

paddleNET is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of:

• merchantability
• fitness for a particular purpose
• non-infringement
• uninterrupted operation
• data accuracy
• AI correctness

Participation is entirely at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, paddleNET, iNDX, contributors, operators, participants, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• indirect damages
• lost opportunities
• lost profits
• data loss
• business interruption
• reputational harm
• AI-generated inaccuracies
• third-party actions
• environmental interpretation errors
• networking outcomes

Changes To These Terms

These Terms & Conditions will evolve as paddleNET evolves.

We will update these terms periodically.

Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

Opt-Out & Data Removal

You may:

• unsubscribe from communications
• request removal of your PID
• request removal or deactivation of your PID link from active member lists
• request deletion of submitted data
• withdraw participation
• ask us to deactivate your Graph Key or participation status

A Human Note
